Nowadays dental implantation becomes the best way to restore missing teeth. Moreover, this way does not deteriorate the condition of the oral cavity and has unlimited lifetime. However, the implantologist should be very responsible during the all process of implant placement. It is important not only to choose the right implant size, but also to identify the most correct position, to restore a bone and mucous membranes. These actions will help to ensure the quality and long-lasting result of implantation.
This clinical case presented the patient with edentulous in # 22, 24, 26 teeth.
The incision was made at the top of the alveolar ridge also with peeled of periosteal flap. Then after drilling fence, a dentist made an autologous of bone.
It was decided to use Bio3 Implants system because of the conical shape of the implant, which allows penetrating easily into the bone tissue without any damages. In the place of 22 tooth, it was decided to use Bio3 implant with the size of 3.3×13. After carried out pilot drilling in place of 24 teeth Bio3 implant of 3.8×11.5 size was installed.
When both implants were placed, a dentist got a palate transplant. After the flap grafts were installed, the wound was sutured.
Then a dentist held an open sinus lift through the access along the top of the alveolar ridge using trephine.
The main feature was the ability to monitor visually the state of the mucosa of the maxillary sinus. A bone was mixed with autologous bone and lifted the membrane in the sinus.
The dentist used Bio3 synthetic bone graft. It is a great material to stimulate bone cell regeneration. This material is similar to human hard tissues and can easily integrate in a space surrounded by a membrane. After the installation of the membrane, the wound was sutured.
Then an X-ray control was conducted.
With Bio3 implant system and sinus lifting (one pack Bio3 Oss) the great results of dental implantation were achieved.
